Or maybe he’s always right. Maybe we’ve just not met the Doctor in order of his age. The first Doctor was the youngest we’ve ever seen him, the second Doctor is the oldest we’ve seen him, and he had a bad few years in his 900’s that’s caused us to see his regenerated self several times. IDK, just a thought.
